Severe deficiency in magnesium can also result to having hypocalcemia, which is caused by a low level of calcium that resulted from lack of magnesium. Furthermore, the situation can also cause hypokalemia, an event when potassium level in the blood goes low significantly.

Magnesium deficiency is a serious problem when occurred. Curing it can be more difficult than preventing it to happen. Taking magnesium supplements is the best way to effectively balance the body’s level of magnesium.
